AVG Rescue Disk

Running the AVG Rescue disk offline

1. For version 12.0, download the Iavi virus definitions file from http://www.avg.com/ww-en/download-update

(Older versions of the Rescue disk may require the AVG9 definitions here http://www.avg.com/ww-en/download-update-9)

2. Save the file to a usb drive

3. Cold boot the inflected PC from scratch from the AVG Resue CD

4. Insert your USB drive and select MOUNT

4. Select UPDATE

5. Select "Offline: Update from Directory"
